Admin Panel. Users & Groups
The Users & Groups section allows FI Administrators to manage access to the Admin Panel itself, adding and editing users, and assigning user roles.
Admin Panel users must be created and activated here before they can log in.
Refer to Admin Panel Sections and Roles for details on the standard Admin Panel roles and their permissions.
Adding Users
- In the Users tab, click Add.
- An Account Info forms opens for a new user. Fill in the user's details (name, position, email, password).
- In the Role frame, click Add and select the role(s) for the new user.
- Click Save to create the user.
An initial passwords needs to be created manually for a new user. When accessing the Admin Panel for the first time via the invitation email, the user will be prompted to create their own password.
New users are inactive by default and need to be activated before login by using the toggle next to their name in the Users list.
Managing Users
- Click a user's name in the Users list (use the Search bar to find a user by name).
- The user's Account Info forms opens. Edit the fields as required (including role assignment).
- Click Save to apply the changes.
- Use the toggle next to the name in the Users list to activate or deactivate the user. Inactive users won't be able to log in to the Admin Panel.
- To delete a user permanently, select the user(s) in the Users list by checking the box to the left of the name, and click Delete, then confirm. Note: this action is irreversible.
Mass-Assigning User Roles
- Navigate to the Groups tab and click a role in the list. The list of users currently assigned to the role will be displayed on the right.
- To assign users to the selected role:
- In the right-hand pane, click Add.
- The list of available users will appear. Select the user(s) as required and click Add.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
- To remove users from the selected role:
- In the right-hand pane, select the user(s) by checking the boxes to the left of the name, and click Delete, then confirm.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
